Experience
I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I acquired my bachelor's degree in sports and exercise science. I also minored in coaching and earth science while attending the University. Currently, I am a teacher at a Texas public school. I currently teach physics and chemistry. I have been in this role for approximately six years. I also have prior experience teaching. I have taught eighth graders the subject of science. I also have experience in the tutoring field. I am currently free to tutor subjects that are considered secondary science levels. I enjoy teaching physics and earth sciences the most. I thoroughly enjoy all the science subjects I teach. I find that every subject has a relation to the real world. As for my tutoring and teaching style, I try to show students how the information they're learning can apply to real life things or situations. This gives students a perspective that they can relate to. In turn, absorbing the information being taught is much easier for the students. I was born and raised in Colorado. However, after living in Texas for quite some time, I have to say that I really enjoy it. I am married and have children of my own. My family and I enjoy activities outdoors and we also are diehard Broncos fans.
