I have attended both the University of Phoenix and the University of Houston. I earned a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in adolescent studies. I am an experienced educator with a teaching certificate in English Language Arts for students in 8th-12th grades. Within my field, I have taught a variety of subject areas, such as reading, English as a second language, and creative writing at many different grade levels. My goal as a teacher is to prepare students for the rigors of college writing and to teach them to read critically. I also want my students to respect the subject and the process of writing. I am available to tutor reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, British literature, grammar and mechanics, public speaking, psychology, social studies, biology, and business.In my spare time, I love to cook. I find it very calming and it allows me to tap into my creativity. I also enjoy reading, primarily historical stories with a twist. I currently live in Richmond, Texas.
